Entry Requirements
Good knowledge of basic electrical science. Candidates should bring their own copy of the 17th Edition Regulations BS7671 and IEE Onsite Guide.
Who Should Attend?
Any practising electrician, installers and other allied professionals, e.g. electrical engineers, contracts managers, surveyors and other related trades needing to update and enhance their understanding of IEE Wiring Regulations.
Points to note regarding the amendment
BS 7671 Amendment 1 was published on 1st July 2011, and came into force on 1st January 2012. From 30th June 2011 to the 31st December 2011, designers and contractors have the choice to work to the existing standard or the newly implemented Amd 1 but not both. All installations designed and installed after 31st December 2011 should comply with BS 7671 17th Edition Amd 1.
